Kemudian pada Juli 2008 FF XIII untuk Xbox 360 telah diumumkan untuk rilis di Asia. Team FF XIII menitik beratkan pada pengembangan FF XIII untuk PS 3. Saat FF XIII dirilis di Jepang, team FF XIII bekerja untuk membuat versi Xbox 360. Bisa berakibat fatal kalau game ini dirilis secara bertubi-tubi untuk Xbox 360 kemudian PS 3 di Eropa dan Amerika Utara. Bisa jadi FF XIII untuk 360 bakal makan waktu lama rilis-nya, toh di Indonesia lebih familiar PS daripada Xbox, ya kan?? Yang penting game ini luar biasa.
